#### Education

Cornell University - BS, Chemical Engineering#### Experience

While studying at Cornell University, I fulfilled the requirements to earn my B.S. in chemical engineering, which included a business focus, and I graduated in May 2014.I've always had a great interest in science and mathematics due to the role they play in the technology that is so pervasive today. When tutoring, mathematics and science are the two subject areas that I'm most passionate about teaching. The reasons I prefer tutoring students in these two areas is that both of them necessitate definite answers that happen to be firmly based on logic.I go about helping students by taking complex subject matter, and explaining it in a way that is easy for my students to process, internalize, and understand. My teaching methodology, which can be adapted based on the students' unique learning styles, promises to help students to do well on standardized exams and to develop critical thinking skills that they will be able to use inside and outside of the classroom. I can truly say that I'm interested not only on how they do on tests in the near term, but also how they fare in life over the long term.My hobbies and special interests include weightlifting, reading fiction, playing guitar, and playing soccer.#### Hobbies
